Planning the journey from Clarke Quay
From Hotel Conforto, Clarke Quay station is about a 4-minute walk. Take the MRT to Kranji, then board the bus serving the reserve. NParks directs visitors to use bus 925 from Kranji MRT Monday to Saturday, or bus 925M on Sundays and public holidays. Bus services can change, so check the official site before you go.
The Visitor Centre is at 60 Kranji Way, Singapore 739453. Plan to combine a walk on the trails with a stop at the Visitor Centre or Wetland Centre. For more on getting around from the hotel’s Clarke Quay area, use this guide to Singapore transport from Clarke Quay.
Drivers can use free parking at both the Visitor Centre and Wetland Centre. Bicycle racks are available at both locations too.

Trails, boardwalks and habitats
The reserve’s easy walking routes let you choose between mangrove boardwalks, coastal wetlands and a short forest trail. The route lengths below can help you plan a visit around the habitats you want to see.
Mangrove Boardwalk
Choose a 500m or 3km route on the Mangrove Boardwalk. Both options are described as easy walks, making it simple to keep your outing short or spend longer among the mangroves.
Coastal Trail
The easy Coastal Trail covers 1.3km, passing freshwater ponds, mudflats and mangroves. It offers a route through several kinds of wetland habitat.
Forest Trail and Mid-canopy Walk
The easy Forest Trail is 300m long and leads to the 150m Mid-canopy Walk. This shorter route is another way to include a forest section in your visit.
Migratory Bird Trail
The Migratory Bird Trail is an easy 1.95km route. Migratory birds may be seen along it from August to April, according to NParks. For a different Singapore outing, compare the trails with a Pulau Ubin day trip from central Singapore.

Wildlife viewing and visitor conduct
Stay on designated trails and give wildlife space as you walk through the reserve. NParks advises visitors not to approach, provoke or feed animals, and to keep a safe distance from them.
Pets are not allowed. Jogging, cycling, skating, rollerblading, personal mobility devices and scooters are also prohibited, as are flying drones, fishing and poaching. Following these rules helps keep the trails and habitat safer for wildlife and other people.

Facilities and time needed
You can visit the reserve on a free self-guided walk or register for a free guided tour. NParks lists an English guided tour every Saturday from 9.30am to 11.30am, except on public holidays and the eve of public holidays; each tour has capacity for 15 participants. Guided walks are cancelled if it rains.
Junior Wetland is near the Visitor Centre. Children below 13 must be supervised by an adult there. NParks describes the reserve as wheelchair accessible.
There is no single route length for a visit: the walks range from 300m to 3km, with shorter paths and longer options to combine. Choose a route that suits your available time, and allow for the journey to and from Kranji MRT when planning the day.
Checking conditions before travelling
Check current access and tour arrangements before setting out, because weather and tide conditions can affect parts of the reserve. High tides and bad weather may flood some areas, which can then close for safety; do not enter flooded or temporarily closed areas.
Opening hours, bus services and guided-tour arrangements are practical details to confirm before your visit. For details about Hotel Conforto, see the hotel page.
